In sheets, color-illustrated filled cover with title on front cover calligraphed by the artist, slipcase and folder illustrated with a color lithograph from the sols series, with title in black on spine. First edition of P. Volboudt's text commenting on Dubuffet's work from the assemblages and sols period, with 17 hors-texte illustrations by Dubuffet, including 9 in color, 12 full-page and 5 double-page, all reproduced as well as the cover using Daniel Jacomet's process.
