Italian style, flap cover illustrated on the first cover with a woodcut in black depicting aprint peddler and with the title in brown.
Comprising 14 single leaves, including one for the justification, one for the title with Bernouard's painted rose (it was painted by the publisher's wife), one for the list of plates, 10 for the woodcuts and finally the last leaf for the "achevé d'imprimer".
