7 full-page compositions in black and pink; along with "Zlom", this book is a fine example of constructivist typography. Yellow cover with typographic illustration in red and blue on the front cover.
Work printed by Kryl and Scotti, in Moravia, here in the second edition of the text but the first illustrated is a variation of typographic compositions by Karel Teige from the poems written in 1926-1927 by Biebl during a long boat trip in the Pacific.
Edition : 20 + 25 + 55 on Hollande + 4 lettered + 11, + the current edition.
Here these two copies of the current edition are gathered in a slipcase signed by D.-H. Mercher, each protected by a plexiglass window, navy blue morocco with on the first plate a geometrical mosaic decoration with a blue circle and a yellow flat striped with blue lines under plexiglas. Gold and red leather fillet, gold title and in hollow on the back, case.
Condition : Case and slipcase in very good condition. The color on the cover of the books is a bit faded. Slight traces of moisture on the edges but pages in very good condition
